This petition is filed to direct the respondent to register FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 23.12.2014 in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint on 23.12.2014 as against one Karthikeyan, Sub-Inspector of Police before the second respondent police to register FIR and to take action. Since no action was taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint given by the petitioner, C.S.R.No.1143/2014 was assigned and the same was enquired into and on completion of enquiry, the complaint was closed. He has also produced the closure report.

4. Since the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the criminal original petition stands dismissed.
