ORDER

This petition is filed praying for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.347 of 2009 dated 29.07.2009 and file final report before the competent court.

2.In the petition it is stated that the petitioner was employed as Salesman in the Nemili Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Union, Nemili, Vellore District and while he was in service, the respondent registered a case in Crime No.347 of 2009 for the offence punishable under Section 6(3) of TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982 r/w 7(1)A(ii) of EC Act, 1955. Though the respondent registered the case as early as on 29.07.2009, till date the final report has not been filed. Hence, this petition. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been almost completed and final report will be filed very soon.

4.I heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 5.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent police to file final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
