Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to issue patta to the petitioner based on the representation dated 05.09.2014 in respect of the land bearing Survey No.233 Assessment No.2-A for an extent of 35 cents.

ORDER

Two representations have been made by the petitioner on 05.09.2014 and 13.10.2014 seeking issuance of patta. As the said representations have not been disposed of, the present writ petition has been filed with respect to Survey No.233 for an extent of 35 cents in assessment No.2-A.

2. Taking into consideration the pendency of the representations dated 05.09.2014 and 13.10.2014, a direction is issued to the first respondent to pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish the copy of the representations along with this order within a period of two weeks. It is well open to the first respondent to hear any third party, if any.
