ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus, seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent herein to consider petitioner's application dated 27.12.2024 sent for granting Domestic Electricity Service Connection for the house situated at S.F. 189, Site No.30, RVE Nagar, 8th Street, Nallur, Tiruppur, within a stipulated period without insisting on No Objection Certificate from the 2nd respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondent and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in similar facts and circumstances, in writ petitions filed by similarly placed persons namely, W.P. Nos.21419 of 2025 etc. batch, this Court, by an order dated 05.08.2024, had directed the respondents therein to consider the applications submitted by the 2/4
petitioners therein as well as issued certain directions. The same direction will enure to the benefit of the petitioner herein also.

In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.12.2024 and if the petitioner satisfies all the requirements and also executes the necessary indemnity bond, the 1st respondent is directed to process the said application and provide service connection to the petitioner. The 1st respondent shall complete the process within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
