ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking to punish the respondents for having disobeyed the order of this Court in W.P.No.15346 of 2019 dated 19.08.2019.

2. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 submitted that insofar as the petitioners 1, 2 and 4 to 6 are concerned, the above order of this Court dated 19.08.2019, has been complied on 30.03.2023 by the General manager of the Transport Corporation (Coimbatore Limited), Coimbatore and as far as the 3rd petitioner is concerned, he has given a letter dated 27.02.2023 addressed to the General Manager of the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation, Regional Office, Kovai Kottam-2, Erode, stating that he has temporarily relinquished his promotion.

3. Recording the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4, the disobedience alleged against the respondents cannot be termed as wilful in nature. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed. 30.03.2023 Index:Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes/No ksa-2 4/6
