Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.04.2021 and direct the 3rd respondent to include the petitioner's name in the Computer Chitta and issue Patta to the petitioner's land bearing Survey No.23, measuring about 0.34.5 Ares situated at Pasumpalur South village, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking direction to the respondent, more particularly the third respondent, the Revenue Tahsildar, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur Distrct to consider the representation dated 13.4.2021.
2. The petitioner claims that he is in possession of the land bearing S.No.23 measuring about 0.34.5 ares. He had also constructed a house. The property is also assessed to House Tax https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and Water Tax. He has also obtained Electricity connection and he had applied for patta. He had given a representation on 13.4.2021 in this regard.
3. However, it is necessary that the petitioner herein files an Application online for grant of patta, to the third respondent, Revenue Tahsildar, Perambalur District and also pay necessary charges.
4. On receipt of the online application, the third respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner, examine the petitioner, examine the revenue records and thereafter, take a considered decision on the said application either to grant patta or not to grant patta. At any rate, reasons should be given if he refuses to grant patta. Such an exercise shall be completed within 16 weeks from the date of receipt of the online application.
