Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the second respondent to produce the body of the detenue by name Suganya wife of the petitioner aged about 25 years before this Court and set her at liberty. O R D E R

(The Order of the Court was made by M. M.SUNDRESH,J.,) The petitioner is the husband of the detenue by namely Suganya. Alleging that the mother-in-law of the petitioner has confined her in illegal detention, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. The detenue has appeared on her own before us. She has informed us that she is aged about 25 years and she has since married the petitioner. She has further stated that she is willing to go with the petitioner. In such view of the matter, she is at liberty to join with the petitioner. 3.In view of the submission made by the petitioner and the detenue, we direct the second respondent to give appropriate protection to the petitioner and the detenue as and when required. This Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed accordingly.
