Heard Ms.Shaikh Mehrunisa, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Mohammed Fazar Ali, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.05.2013, wherein, he sought for recognition for the Managing Committee, which was elected in the meeting held on 24.06.2011.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents Waqf Board submitted that the election were held on 24.06.2011 and the period of the Committee was only for three years and the period is over and fresh elections have been notified and the election process is on.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though election were conducted and Committee was elected in the year 2011, the charge was not handed over to the said Committee in spite of several representations.

5. This Court is of the view that this contention cannot be canvassed at this stage, since the period of three years is already over. If the petitioner is desirous of participating in the fresh election scheduled to be held, it is always open to the petitioner to do so.

6. With this observation, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
