By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.Heard Mr.R.Jayaprakash, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.J.Vepparasu, learned counsel for respondent. 3.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to transfer the property tax card into petitioner's name for the house at No.69 A,Thali Road, Muthurayan Jeebi, First Main Road, Hosur, Krishnagiri District by considering the petitioner representation dated 01.10.2012. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to inadvertence on the part of the petitioner, instead mentioning the Door No. as 12/69 A, Thali Road, the petitioner has wrongly mentioned as 69 A, Thali Road and sought for rectification of the same.

5.The learned counsel appearing for the Municipality on instructions submitted that appropriate application may be submitted by the petitioner to the Municipality to enter the correct Door Number.

6.In the light of the above, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application along with the copy of this order incorporating the correct Door Number, before the respondent Municipality, which shall be considered by the respondent Municipality, as expeditiously as possible.
