Seeking issuance of patta, the petitioner made a request based upon her alleged prolonged possession by way of a representation dated 11.09.2006. It was referred to the Tahsildar to find out if the said land is Meikkal Poramboke, in which case no patta can be granted, as per the proceedings of the respondent no.1 dated 13.09.2006. The petitioner made a further representation on 01.09.2014 to the respondent no.1 renewing the very same request. In the said representation, the petitioner has stated that the earlier representation made by her husband has not been considered, despite appropriate direction was issued in this regard. As no further action has been taken even thereafter, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation and the petitioner's representation having been referred to the Tahsildar, as seen from the application No.KK/14/15636 dated 01.09.2014, a direction is issued to the respondent no.2 to pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to send another copy of the representation to the respondent no.2, enclosing a copy of this order within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
