This petition has been preferred by the petitioner before this Court after invoking the proviso to Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 03.10.2013 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.It is averred in the petition that one Roddiyappa and his sons cut two tamarind trees belonging to the petitioner and when the same was questioned, the petitioner was intimidated with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dire consequence and hence, he lodged a complaint dated 03.10.2013 to the second respondent. Since no action was initiated by the respondents, the petitioner has come before this Court with this petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that she has not received any instructions from the respondent police. 5.Under the above said circumstances, this Court directs the second respondent to peruse the complaint dated 03.10.2013 and if any cognizable offence is made out, further directed to take appropriate steps as per law.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
