Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to forthwith take action against the 2nd respondent, in pursuant to the representation dated 29.02.2016 (acknowledged vide Petition No. KS/16/01741 dated 29.02.2016). The petitioner is said to have paid a sum of Rs.1,83,000/- towards part-payment of Rs.5,50,000/-, which was agreed to be paid to the 2nd respondent for granting fishing rights in Nagaleri lake. According to the petitioner, after receiving part-payment from him, the 2nd respondent is trying to conduct public auction in respect of fishing rights in Nagaleri lake. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation on 29.02.2016 to the 1st respondent giving all the details, namely, payment of Rs.1,83,000/- and investment of a sum of Rs.2,65,000/-, towards purchase of fishes and letting them in Nagaleri lake. Since the said representation has not been disposed of, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Considering the pendency of the representation of the petitioner, with regard to the relief sought, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
