Respondents in both the petitions Prayer : Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioners' representations dated 30.01.2019 and 06.02.2019, including vending committee, constituted by the first respondent, for grant of licence to continue to run the petty shop and till such time, forbear the first respondent from in any manner interfering with running of the petitioners' bunk shop at 100 feet Road (JN Road) by the side of Praveen Travels Building, Near Bus Stop, Opp. "Chennai Mobiles", Koyambedu, Chennai-600 107, selling the Tea, Coffee and allied foods (in respect of WP No.14877 of 2019) and at Anna Nagar, 3rd Avenue, by the side of BSNL building, Anna Nagar East, Chennai - 600 102, selling fresh juice and vegetable fruit salade (in respect of WP No.14855 of 2019).

2.Mr.V.C. Selvasekaran, the learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, it appears that the petitioners have made representations on 30.01.2019 (the petitioner in W.P.No.14877/2019) and 06.02.2019 (the petitioner in W.P.No.14885/2019) for allotment of Shops under Vending Committee. 4.
With regard to such representations, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioners, dated 30.01.2019 and 06.02.2019, on merits and in accordance with law. 5.
The other aspect of injunction, sought for by the petitioners, is
concerned, it stands negatived.

With the above direction, both the writ petitions are disposed of . No costs.
