ORDER
The Petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of patta based on the application dated 29.10.2015
2. Heard Mr. P. Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Mr.P.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent.
3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner along with one S.G.Rajendiran Prasad have purchased the property measuring an extent of 5.85 acres by a registered sale deed from M/s. Saraswathi Mills. As the patta for the land purchased by the petitioner still stands in the name of Saraswathi Mills Ltd, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner applied for patta before the 1st respondent on 29.10.2015 based on the sale deed dated 29.3.2012. Since the 1st respondent refused to receive the petitioner's application, he sent the said application by registered post and the same was received by the 1st respondent on 30.10.2015. Though the 1st respondent received the application of the petitioner on 30.10.2015, the same is kept pending till date without passing any order. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.
4. The petitioner being the purchaser of the above said property seeks transfer of patta and submitted a representation to the 1st respondent. The petitioner is able to substantiate his claim that the patta stands in the name of the 2nd respondent as on date.
5. Hence the 1st respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 29.10.2015 with regard to Transfer of Patta after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order
6. With the above direction, this writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
