This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.221 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same.

2. Since there are prima facie materials in the FIR, the same cannot be quashed. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.221 of 2016 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a closure report or final report, as the case may be.
