Mr.S.Soundararajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 24.08.2017, arising out of the Patta proceedings. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent has not disposed the appeal so far. Therefore, it is for the second respondent to consider the said appeal and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as other interested parties. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in the said appeal. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 24.08.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the opposite parties. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
