This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred to call for the entire records relating to Cr. No.288 of 2021 on the file of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Shevapet Police Station, Shevapet, Salem City and quash the same in so far as the petitioners are concerned.

2. Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed; the charge sheet has also been filed 2/4

and it was taken on file in S.T.C.No.5651 of 2022, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Salem.

4. In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration in this Criminal Original Petition and the same is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
