Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel for both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Seeking permission to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.09.2015, wherein permission has been sought for erection of Vinayagar Idol and procession at MMDA Market Bus Stop, Arumbakkam, Chennai, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that though the petitioner has sought for a prayer to consider his representation, the petitioner may be permitted to suggest for any alternative route for procession and subject to the other usual conditions that may be imposed by the respondents, the same can be considered, for which course of action, the learned counsel for the petitioner also accepted.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to suggest for any alternative route for procession and subject to other usual conditions, the respondents are directed to give permission: (a) for erecting temporary Lord Ganesha Idol on 17.09.2015 at petitioner's village, i.e., near Ration Shop; (b) for conducting the festival for four days starting from 17.09.2015 to 20.09.2015 and (c) for procession.
