ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to include one year training period for calculating gratuity and pay the difference in Gratuity amount with 10% interest to the petitioner. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner joined the respondent Corporation on 19.07.1990 as Record Clerk and he was retired upon Voluntary Retirement on 20.07.2024. The contention of the learned Counsel of the petitioner is that though the petitioner's retirement benefits were granted, it did not take into consideration of the training period. Therefore, to calculate the retirement benefits including his training period, he sent a representation to the respondent dated 26.03.2025 and the said representation is yet to be considered by the respondent. 3.

Heard the learned Counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

This Court without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation

dated 26.03.2025 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on it's own merits and in accordance with law. 5.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
