This writ petition has been filed forbearing the respondents 1 to 5 by giving approval to the 8th respondent from putting a lay out by converting the lands situated in S.Nos.14/12A,14/1B, 14/2,14/3,14/4A,14/5A,14/6B,14/7B,14/8 and 14/9 to an extent of 1.21 acres and S.No.14/10 1⁄2 share in well in Mansurapath Village, Chetpattu Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District as house plots, based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2021.
2. On perusal of the records and the submissions made by the 8th respondent, it is seen that on receipt of the objections raised by the petitioner, the first respondent categorically stated that the layout approval cannot be granted for poromboke land and it can only be granted for Nanjai land. The subject matter of this writ petition is a punjai land. That apart, the 8th respondent never presented any layout for approval.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for respondents.

4. Having received the reply on the objections raised by the petitioner, he has chosen to file this writ petition and wasted the judicial time and also caused mental agony to the 8th respondent. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed with costs of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) payable by the petitioner to the 8th respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
