Respondent PRAYER Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to give permission to conduct Cultural programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Narnamangalam Arulmigu Sree Selliamman Temple Festival at Alathur Taluk, Perambalur District on 28.05.2019 between 6.00 p.m. To 11.00 p.m. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2019.

For Petitioner : Mr.C.Nandhakumar [in all WPs] For respondent : Mr.C.Raghavan [in all WPs] Government Advocate [Criminal Side] COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed to direct the respondent authority to give permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal).

2.Heard the learned counsel on both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have submitted representations to the respective respondent, seeking permission for conducting the cultural programme (Adal Padal) and the same is pending. Hence the petitions.

4.In such case, the respondent/Police are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners and dispose of the same in accordance with law on or before 24.05.2019 and inform the result to the concerned petitioners.

5.With this aforesaid direction, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
