O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the Arrears of Pension to the petitioner which he was entitled for the periods of April, 2015 and May, 2015 along with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that though the petitioner was retired from service on 31.03.2015 as Special Grade Driver in the RespondentsTransport Corporation, his April and May-2015 months' pension was not disbursed to him and thereafter, he received pension regularly. Hence, claiming his two months pension, he has sent a representation on 10.02.2025 and the same is yet to be pending. It is the further case of the petitioner that for the RTI query, the 2nd respondent has given a reply on 03.04.2024 stating that the pension due for the months of April and May-2015 would be paid. 2/4

3. However, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 is not in a position to confirm with the above reply. Therefore, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025 on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
