Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2018, within a period fixed by the Honourable Court. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2018, within a stipulated period.

2. According to the petitioner, he made a representation to the respondent seeking enhancement of compensation under Section 20 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, but no orders have been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition before this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Government Pleader has produced the proceedings of the District Revenue Officer, Tiruppur dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

31.08.2018 stating that the petitioner's representation was duly considered and the same was rejected. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ petition.

4. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader and also recording the proceedings dated 31.08.2018 this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the said order, if so advised.
