ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to pass an order on the 1/5

petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2022 to inspect and survey the schedule of property.

The case of the petitioner is that the property situated at Sempoondi Village, Maduranthagam Taluk, Chengalpet District, comprised in Survey No.218/1A1, to an extent of 0.06 cents, was purchased by the petitioner from his father and his younger brother by way of Sale deed, and registered on the file of Sub-Registrar Office, Maduranthagam. Subsequent to the purchase of the aforesaid property, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the same. However, the Patta stands in the name of the petitioner's father vide Patta No.494 along with other properties. Further, the petitioner came to know that the FMB sketch was wrongly given as 51⁄2 cents instead of 0.06 cents by the respondents, and the remaining 1⁄2 cents was shown as it belongs to the adjacent owners. Therefore, the petitioner made representation dated 14.03.2022 before the second respondent, seeking to inspect and survey the aforesaid property. As the said representation made by the petitioner has evoked no response from the respondent, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, 2/5

learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2022 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has no objection for the said order being passed.

5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
