ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer of the petitioners is to quash the notice dated 26.12.2017 issued to the petitioners in relation to the encroachment made in the public pathway in Village Natham Old Survey No.247/1, New Survey No.335/3 situated at Periyavenmani Village, Madurantgam Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. The learned Government Advocate states that the Survey Number has been wrongly stated in the notice dated 26.12.2017. Hence, they are withdrawing the said notice and thereafter they will proceed in accordance with law.

3. In view of the statement made by the learned Government Advocate that the notice dated 26.12.2017 is being withdrawn, the writ petition has become infructuous and the same is dismissed accordingly.
