ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 18.03.2025 thereby to direct the 3rd respondent to register the sale deed within time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner purchased a land measuring an extent of 53 cents in S.No.268 situated at No.120, Paramankeni Village, Elathur Union, Cheyyur Village, Kancheepuram vide Sale Deed Document No.5220 of 2012 dated 21.12.2012 before the Sub-Registrar Office, Cheyyur. However, the respondents refused to register the Sale Deed dated 21.12.2012. Pursuant to the above refusal, the petitioner submitted a representation 2/5

dated 18.03.2025 to the respondents 1 to 3 seeking registration. However, the said representation was not considered so far by the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.On this being pointed out, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that he has instructions to say that the Sale Deed was not even presented for registration. However, the petitioner may be directed to represent the Sale Deed and the same would be registered if it is otherwise in order.

5.In view thereof, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to register the Sale Deed dated 21.12.2012 if it is otherwise in order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
