By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. Seeking direction to the first respondent to grant permission for conducting Vinayaka Chaturthi festival from 17.09.2015 to 19.09.2015 at Sri Ellaiamman Thiurkkoil, Sri Gangaiamman Thirukkoil, Sri Mamuthiamman Koil, Sri Muthumariammal Thirukkoil and the Sri Siddhivinayakar Thirukkoil, Egattur, Vaniyanchavadi, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District 603 103, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard both sides.
4. On a perusal of typed set of papers filed by the petitioner, it is seen that by the proceedings of the first respondent dated 06.08.2015 appropriate permission has already been granted for conducting the festival from 12.08.2014 to 17.08.2015. On the representation of the petitioner dated 24.08.2015, the third respondent has sent a report to the first respondent in
Na.Ka.No.2285/2015/Aa dated 11.09.2015 seeking appropriate orders to appoint the officer from the HR & CE officer for the purpose of conducting Vinayakar Chaturthi Festival .
5. The festival has to be conducted from tomorrow onwards. Thus, considering the above said position and taking note of the earlier order passed by the Court on 19.08.2014 and the communication of the third respondent dated 11.09.2015 to the first respondent a direction is issued to the first respondent to appoint an officer from the HR & CE Department for the purpose of conducting Vinayakar Chaturthi festival starting from 17.09.2015 onwards. The first respondent can also appoint The Executive Officer, Arulmigu Kandasamy Thirukoil, Thiruporur, Kancheepuram District as suggested by the learned Additional Government Pleader in this regard. 6.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 16.09.2015 arr Note: Issue order copy on 16.09.2015
