Respondents Writ Appeal filed under Clause 15 of Letters Patent to setaside the order dated 04.06.2013 made in W.P.No.13061 of 2013, on the file of this Court. The prayer in this Writ petition is for the issuance of a writ of Mendamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders based on the representation dated 16.11.2012 sent by the petitioner for regularisation of his service on Suyambagan in the 3rd respondent Temple and pass such further or other relief.

J U D G M E N T

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The learned Single Judge taking into account the appointment of the first respondent as Suyambagam of the Arulmigu Sugavaneswararswamy Thirukkoil, Kottai, Salem, directed the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department to regularise his services in accordance with the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.22 P&AR Department, dated 28 February, 2006. The order is under challenge at the instance of the State.

2. When the intra court appeal is taken up for hearing today, learned Special Government Pleader, HR & CE, produced a copy of the proceedings dated 23 February, 2018 indicating that the first respondent has already been appointed as temple staff in the pay scale Rs.4100-10000 + 1400 grade pay. The appointment was given with effect from 18 February, 2015. In view of the subsequent events, nothing survives for adjudication. The intra court appeal is disposed of in view of the subsequent events relating to the appointment of the first respondent in the temple in question. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
