[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's daughter Vaishya Lakshmi, aged about 24 years and minor Rakshan, son of Jenice Ajith, aged about 2 1⁄2 years, before this Court and set them at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Vaishya Lakshmi was married to Jenice Ajith, through whom, she has a child Rakshan, aged about 2 1⁄2 years. It is the further case of the petitioner that his daughter Vaishya Lakshmi and Rakshan went missing from 31.03.2021 by leaving a cryptic message in the phone that she is going with a known person. 3.
On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Velampalayam Police Station Crime No.282 of 2021 was registered on 01.04.2021 for 'woman and boy missing' and investigation is in progress.
Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tiruppur North Sub-division, to monitor the investigation in Velampalayam Police Station Crime No.282 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when Vaishya Lakshmi, aged about 24 years and Rakshan, aged about 2 1⁄2 years, are secured, they shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.III, Tiruppur, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders with regard to custody in accordance with law.
