Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in C3/D.O./22/2021 dated 01.07.2021 on the file of the second respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband Pandidurai s/o.Pannerselvam, aged about 31 years, who is now detained at Central Prison, Cuddalore, before this court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.HEMALATHA, J] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu Pandidurai s/o.Pannerselvam, aged about 31 years, who has been branded as 'Bootlegger' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in C3/D.O./22/2021 dated 01.07.2021. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in C3/D.O./22/2021 dated 01.07.2021 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3677, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 16.08.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
