PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the 1st respondent to register a new society under the title "Hockey Unit of Villupuram" illegally formed by the 4th respondent in violation of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and consequently to forbear the 4th respondent and his removed members from interfering in the affairs of Villupuram District Hockey Academy (Reg No.000/2017).

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to forbear from registering a new society under the title 'Hockey Unit of Villupuram', which has been formed illegally by the fourth respondent in violation of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and to restrain the fourth respondent from interfering with the affairs of the Villupuram District Hockey Academy.

2. Mr.Stalin Abhimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3. Heard both. 2/4

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and perusing the materials placed on record, the writ petition is disposed of by making it clear that as and when the first respondent receives any application from the fourth respondent seeking registration of the association, the objection given by the petitioner shall be considered and a decision shall be taken on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, the connected WMP is closed.
