Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation dated 03.09.2016 and to pass appropriate orders within the time limit to be prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The petitioner, having been appointed as a Graduate Teacher on consolidated pay on 14.9.2005, was given her regular appointment as Graduate Teacher on 1.6.2006 and she had also completed her probation on 9.8.2008. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner has also completed ten years of regular service on 31.5.2016, for which she is eligible for elevation to Selection Grade from 1.6.2016. In this regard, the petitioner has also given a representation for her elevation to get the benefit of Selection Grade on 3.9.2016 by registered post on 1.3.2017. But the same has not been considered. Hence, she has been advised to come to this Court.

2. Mr.ERA.Premnath, learned Government Advocate, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, sought four weeks time to consider the pending representation.

Placing on record his request, the first respondent is hereby directed to consider the pending representation of the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
