O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 23.08.2017 and 11.09.2017, seeking appointment on compassionate ground.

2. The petitioner is the son of late Mr.Govindan, who served as Salesman in the third respondent Cooperative Society viz., Nadupatty Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society from 14.02.1990 and subsequently died on 13.04.2015, leaving behind his mother, wife, three children including the petitioner as legal heirs. The Provisional Certificate of Higher Secondary Examination shows that the petitioner has passed XII during https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

March 2015. The petitioner, along with educational qualification certificate, death certificate and legal heir certificate, submitted a representation dated 23.08.2017 seeking compassionate appointment and the same has not been considered for long time. As the petitioner's family has lost the only bread winner and the entire family has been facing huge nightmare, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Mr.L.P.Shanmughasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, sought for eight weeks time to consider the pending representations.

4. Placing on record the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 23.08.2017 and 11.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
