This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders for providing police protection to Arulmigu Iyyanar Swamy Thiruveethi Ula held at Inam Killiyur Post, Vallangaiman Taluk, Tiruvarur District on 24.05.2019 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.05.2019 on account of Arulmigu Iyyanar Swamy Festival 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that even thought he petitioner has submitted representation before the respondent well in advance seeking permission and police protection for conducting temple festival and also for conducting cultural programme, so far the respondent police has not passed any order any hence he requests to direct the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent police to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner at an early date.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted that because of the law and order problem the representation is kept pending.

4.In such case, the respondent/Police is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law on or before 24.05.2019 and inform the result to the concerned petitioner. 5.With this aforesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
