Respondent PRAYER Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent authority to give police protection and permission to conduct Cultural programme (Adalum Padalum) at Shri Kaliamman Temple Festival, Pichaikalpatti, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District on 29.05.2019 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2019.

For Petitioner : Mr.M.Manimaran For respondent : Mr.C.Raghavan Government Advocate [Criminal Side] C O M M O N O R D E R These petitions have been filed to direct the respondent police to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders for providing police protection and permission for conducting cultural programme (Aadal Paadal).

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners have submitted that even though the petitioner has submitted representation before the respondent well in advance seeking permission and police protection for conducting temple festival and also for conducting cultural programme, so far the respondent police has not passed any order any hence they requested to direct the respective respondent police to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner at an early date. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted that because of the law and order problem the representation is kept pending.

4.In such case, the concerned respondent/Police are directed to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners and dispose of the same in accordance with law on or before 24.05.2019 and inform the result to the concerned petitioners.

5.With this aforesaid direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
