The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.05.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint against one Madasamy and Pandiyan stating that said persons were running a company under the name and style of " Sathish Balaji Press" in the ground floor, 1st and 2nd floor belonging to the petitioner by paying rent. The said persons have not paid rent as on date and they are due of Rs.23,90,800/-. When the petitioner asked to repay the amount, they have threatened the petitioner, hence the complaint.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the complaint, CSR No.16/2015 has been assigned and after conducting enquiry the respondent police had closed the enquiry, since the dispute is between landlord and tenant.

4. In view of the same, since the complaint was already enquired and closed, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the present criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
