Mr.B.Anandan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application dated 17.10.2016, wherein and whereby, he sought for correction in the Patta in respect of the subject matter land.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent has not considered the application so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider the said application of the petitioner dated 17.10.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner on 17.10.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and the rival claimants, if any Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
