ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for alleged offences punishable under Sections 120B, 419, 420, 468, 471 of IPC and Sections 7, 7A and 8 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in Crime No.RC0032022A0026 on the file of the Inspector of Police, CBI, ACB, New Delhi, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that one Parmod Kumar BhasinA1, previously worked at FCRA Division, Ministry of Home Affairs had approached the petitioner and demanded Rs.2,00,000/- for renewal of petitioner's FCRA license and the petitioner also agreed to give the money. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a false complaint has been given against the petitioner and he has nothing to do with the said allegations. He further submitted that Interstate Anticipatory bail may be granted to him to enable him to move to the appropriate jurisdictional Court in New Delhi for necessary relief.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant inter-state interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner for a period of six weeks from today to enable him to move to the concerned Court.
5. Accordingly, interim interstate anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner for a period of six weeks, on condition that the petitioner shall surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virdhachalam, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready and the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within four weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioner shall approach the competent Court in New Delhi and seek appropriate relief.
