Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation given by the petitioner on 09.04.2014.

ORDER

Heard Mr.S.Jayaseelan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner seek for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2014. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that though subsequent to the death of the petitioner's father, the property in question was partitioned, the patta, chitta and other documents stood in the name of the deceased father. In the meanwhile, the petitioner's younger brother, approached the revenue department and changed the patta in his name and is trying to settle the properties in favour of his son. Due to such act of the petitioner's younger brother, the title of the other legal heirs is being affected. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 09.04.2014 before the 1st https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent, who in turn, had forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent. Since no action is being taken by the 2nd respondent till date, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader would submit that reasonable time may be given to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation. 5.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 16.07.2013, 26.08.2014 and 26.09.2014 after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to those persons who are likely to be aggrieved and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
