Mr.S.Diwakar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the learned counsel appearing for both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Seeking issuance of patta for the land situated in S.No.181/17 at Udayavar Kovil Village, Thirumazhisai, Chennai, the petitioner has made a representation on 11.09.2015 to the respondent. Since the same is not favoured with any response, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides.

4. Taking into consideration the pendency of the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2015, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the said representation of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
