to direct the respondent authority to give police protection and permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Kunimedu Kuppam Arulmigu Sree Yellaiamman and Gengaiamman Temple Festival at Marakkanam Tk, Villupuram District on 09/06/2019 between 6.00 PM to 11.00 PM by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2019.

5)CRL OP No.13706 of 2019:

to direct the respondent authority to give police protection and permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Saravaipudur Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival at Attur Tk Salem Dt on 17.6.2019 between 6.00PM to 11.00PM by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2019.

6)CRL OP No.13707 of 2019:

to direct the respondent authority to give police protection and permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Okkanapuram Village Arulmigu Sree Gingili Amman Temple Festival at Anaikattu Tk Vellore Dt on 12.6.2019 between 6.00PM to 11.00 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2019.

For Petitioner : Mr.C.Nandhakumar (in all ) For Respondent : Mr.C.Raghavan (in all) Government Advocate (Criminal Side) C O M M O N O R D E R These petitions have been filed to direct the concerned respondent police to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders for providing police protection and permission for conducting cultural programme (Aadal Paadal).

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners have submitted that even though the petitioner has submitted representation before the respondent well in advance seeking permission and police protection for conducting temple festival and also for conducting cultural programme, so far the respondents police has not passed any order any hence he requests to direct the respondent police to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners at an early date.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has submitted that because of the law and order problem the representations are kept pending.

4.In such case, the respondents/Police are directed to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners and dispose of the same in accordance with law on or before 24.05.2019 and inform the result to the concerned petitioners.

5.With this aforesaid direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
