praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus call for the entire records, relating to the petitioner's on detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 31.05.2022 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings Memo C.No.43/G/IS/Tiruppur City/2022, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son namely Yasar Arafath, S/o.Abudhakeer, aged 23 years before this High Court and set the petitioner's son at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's on detained at Central Prison, Coimbatore.

ORDER

[Made by Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Yasar Arafath S/o.Abudhakeer, aged 23 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in C.No.43/G/IS/Tiruppur City/2022 dated 31.05.2022, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention 2/4

order passed against the detenu in C.No.43/G/IS/Tiruppur City/2022 dated 31.05.2022, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.4099, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 05.07.2022 and produced a copy of the said order.
