This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate Police protection to survey and fence/construction of compound wall to the subject property based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned the property comprised in S.No.52/5, situated at Vadakuthu Village, Kurinchipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District. The petitioner intended to survey the property and to fence the same. However, the counter parties obstructed the Surveyor from surveying the petitioner's property. The petitioner also paid the requisite fees before the Revenue Authorities to survey the property.

In view of the above, the Surveyor, while surveying the petitioner's property, if he finds any obstruction at the hands of the counter parties or any adjacent land owners, can seek Police protection before the third respondent. On such a request, the third respondent is directed to provide adequate Police protection, after conducting an enquiry, and pass orders to provide adequate Police protection to the Surveyor to survey the petitioner's property.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
