ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to include Sections 325 and 506(i) I.P.C. against the accused in Crime No.378 of 2015 and to file a final report.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 10.9.2015 as against one Revathy and Thandapani and on the basis of the said complaint, a case was registered in Crime No.378 of 2015 for the offence under Sections 294(b) and 323 I.P.C. Though the allegation made in the complaint attracts Sections 325 and 506 (i) I.P.C., the respondent police has not included the said sections in the FIR. Hence, the petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that during the course of investigation, if it reveals that the allegation made in the complaint will attract the provisions under Sections 325 and 506(i) I.P.C., the respondent would include the offence also.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the criminal original petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.378 of 2015 and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.
