Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to conduct further counselling for admission to the MBBS courses for 15% All India Quota seats and enable the petitioners to participate in that counselling for exercising their option for the available seats or in the alternative, direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to allot the surrendered seats only to those Tamil Nadu State candidates who had been declared as eligible in the test conducted by the first respondent herein in the order of rank scored by the candidates in the said test.

Solicitor General for R.1 Mr.A.L.Somayaji, Advocate General assisted by Mr.D.Krishnakumar, Special Government Pleader (Education) for R2 & R3 COMMON ORDER The issue involved in these writ petitions is covered by an Order of this Court made in W.P.Nos.31390 and 31391 of 2015, wherein a detailed order was passed today by observing as under: ''Accordingly, these writ petitions stand disposed of by directing the State of Tamil Nadu to strictly comply with the orders passed by the Apex Court as understood by the Medical Counselling Committee of Union of India by doing the needful forthwith in the light of the discussions made. It is made clear that if there are vacancies still remained under the 15% of All India quota, then the State of Tamil Nadu can fill those vacancies from the merit list under the State quota as per the counselling done on 4.10.2015 and which is also going on today."'
Therefore, these writ petitions are disposed of in terms of the above said order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
