O R D E R
The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 08.04.2015.

It is the case of the petitioner that one Mr.R.Deenan, who was originally one of the vendors of the petitioner's Principals, along with his agents, continuously, with a malafide intention and ulterior motive illegally occupied the premises of the petitioner and disturbed his tenants by letting out the said premises to several bachelors and collected rent from the petitioner's Principals' tenants forcefully. When the petitioner questioned Mr.Deenan about this, he along with his agents abused the petitioner in a filthy language and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 08.04.2015 with the 2nd respondent police against the said Mr.Deenan and his power agents. Since no case was registered on the said complaint, the petitioner, having no
other alternative, has come up with the present Criminal Original petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that C.S.R. number has been assigned to the petitioner's complaint vide C.S.R.No.168/2015 and the matter is pending.

Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 08.04.2015, if enquiry is not conducted so far, and proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
