ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner is free to pursue whatever puritanical form of life that the petitioner desires, but the petitioner may not have the right, in the constitutional scheme of things prevailing in this country, to impose the petitioner's wish on every other.

2. The grievance over here is to remove liquor shops and outlets in a particular area.

3. If the petitioner perceives that the permission or license granted to any of the liquor shops or other places which serve liquor is contrary to the existing rules, the petitioner may approach the appropriate authority with a reasoned petition in such regard; however, an omnibus prayer to close down all places which serve liquor or sell liquor because the petitioner may be averse to the idea does not appear to be in public interest.

4. W.P.No.15942 of 2021 is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
