O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider her representation dated 14.09.2016 to cancel the patta No.636 standing in the name of the 3rd respondent and issue Joint patta in her favour as well as her daughter-in-law, in accordance with law.

2. Mr. E. Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the remedy open to the petitioner is to file an appeal as against the order passed by the 2nd respondent, before the Revenue Divisional Officer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that liberty may be given to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the 2nd respondent before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Jurisdiction Revenue Divisional Officer, in accordance with law.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I give liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the Jurisdiction Revenue Divisional Officer, challenging the order passed by the 2nd respondent, in accordance with law. In the event of the petitioner filing an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, the Officer is directed to decide the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties as expeditiously as possible.

5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
