This is the second petition for suspension of sentence and for bail. The previous petition for suspension of sentence in Crl.M.P.No.10547 of 2018 was dismissed on 06.09.2018.

2.Mr.A.Arasu Ganesan, learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant is in incarceration for 1 1⁄2 years. 3.It is the case of the prosecution that the appellant had raped the victim girl, aged about 16 years by physically carrying her to TASMAC shop and subjecting her to sexual assault by brandishing a knife.
