This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaints dated 06.05.2014 and 03.03.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 06.05.2014 given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry was conducted in CSR No.377 of 2014 and the same was closed as early as 2014. As regards the complaint dated 03.03.2015, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the police have not received the complaint at all. Hence, on account of laches, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent to register an FIR.
